I love going into the kitchen when day turns tonight and I have all my little ‘beautiful lights’ in my oversized pink pajama pants and a basket full of fresh summer peaches waiting Go… turn into something warm and cozy!

  • Ingredients :

°4 peaches, peeled, cored also cut to pieces (5 if peaches are very small)
°3/4 c sugar
°1/4 tsp cinnamon
°1/2 cup (1 stick) real butter, melted
+To prepare the dough:
°1 cup flour
°3/4 cup sugar
°2 tbsp. yeast
°1/4 tsp. salt
°1/4 tsp. cinnamon
°1 c. vanilla
°3/4 cup milk

Easy 7 Layer Dip

  • Directions :

Heat oven 375 degrees.
In a bowl, blend peaches, sugar also cinnamon and set apart.
In an 8 x 8 dish, melt butter in the microwave until melted.
In another medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined. Add the milk and vanilla until completely combined but still a bit lumpy. * Do not mix too much. Pour the mixture evenly over the melted butter. (It will look messy and there will be butter on top.)
Stir in the peaches and sprinkle them evenly over the mixture. Sprinkle a few tablespoons of sweet syrup from the bottom of the bowl. * If there are a lot of very ripe peaches, do not use them all. Just a few spoons.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until the top layer is firm and golden. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes and serve hot with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Enjoy !
