- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (1 stick), softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 – 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup Hershey’s Syrup
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- Syrup Frosting
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine (1/2 stick), softened
- 1/4 cup Hershey’s Syrup
- 2 cups powdered sugar
1-Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
2*-Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended in large bowl. Stir together flour and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate syrup to butter mixture; beat well. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
3-Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Frost with “Syrup Frosting“. Cut into squares.
